Longing for Something
Real Dreams
For the past 4 late-nights, I have worked about 16 hours total of straight jQuery coding on the NHD website. As a result, my dreams somehow have transformed from the Hollywood cinemas to simply me coding the website. My wrists are hurting and my brain is throbbing. I am learning how to make a lot of the animation and functions myself. The result is turning out to be very pretty. I am actually quite impressed with the site and hope to finish it by this Monday.

The Next Major Purchase

In other news, Apple finally made it official that they are releasing an iPad. My personal thoughts and observations relating to the iPad follow as: it is a brilliant in-between device. There really isn’t any multi-tasking and the Onion stated that it basically seemed that Steve Jobs forgot about it and was frantically (the night before) trying to think of an idea and stuck 9 iPhones onto the back of a cafeteria tray. I read in another article today that the iPad is for those who need a more powerful personal organizer that isn’t the size of a flee.
Recently, I have been working to upgrade my phone from a Samsung Alias to a Motorola Driod. However, this new piece of technology that Apple released, forced me to think. I want to upgrade to the Driod because my current phone doesn’t get email or surf the internet. However, the iPad is cheaper and is exactly what I want my current phone to do. Now, I realize that iPad isn’t a phone or going to fit in my pocket. However, it could help to keep me organized, especially with college right around the corner.
In the background behind all of this, is a device for my recording adventures. However, it really is not that important or is not something that would help to lessen my stress.
Senior Quotes
Tomorrow my senior quote is due (if I still want Senior Privileges) and I have thought up two quotes: “I don’t believe in religion, instead, I believe in triple layered devil’s food chocolate food cake with chocolate flakes on top, even if it maybe be an outright and complete calumny”
OR
“I would rather have the ability to play, than the ability to pretend and as a result, the ones who observe closely can see past the pretenders masquerade”
Thanks for reading btw…
